Rapping at Home
I guess I do this now
I rap at home all the time. To rehearse, to warm up for recording, to turn around a bad mood. I always keep a handheld mic and SP404 (containing every beat I’ve ever used) plugged into my mixer so I can rap immediately whenever the mood strikes.
Well, it’s with a heavy heart that I report I’ve decided to offer up this proclivity to rhyme at home to the content gods. I’m mostly kidding, but in all honesty, Rapping at Home is me pushing through quite a bit of discomfort to make sure I’m letting people know I DO THIS SHIT. If I want my music to be heard, I have to play the game at least a little bit—hopefully on my own terms. And guess what: It was fun to make!
Rapping at Home #1 features three tracks from Secret Pancake: “Do Not Say Thanks,” “Secret Pancake,” and “Onions.” I hope you enjoy it—and if you do, make sure to like and comment and subscribe and maybe share it with a friend.
And here’s Secret Pancake on Bandcamp for good measure…
